Script writer
A script writer crafts the narrative and dialogue for the animation, turning the initial concept into a detailed and engaging script. They work closely with the director and the storyboard artist to ensure the story flows logically and emotionally resonates with the audience. Mastery of language and a deep understanding of storytelling techniques are essential for this role.
Animator
An animator brings characters and scenes to life, using various animation techniques to convey movement, expression, and emotion. They work from the storyboard and artwork to create seamless animation sequences, utilizing both traditional hand-drawn methods and digital tools. A keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of the principles of animation are crucial for success in this position.
Concept artist
A concept artist creates visual representations of the ideas and themes of the animation project. They design characters, environments, and other elements, setting the tone and style of the visual narrative. Using a combination of traditional and digital art techniques, concept artists produce detailed sketches and paintings that guide the visual development of the project.
Storyboard artist
A storyboard artist visualizes stories and sketches frames of the story. Quick pencil drawings and marker renderings are two of the most common traditional techniques.
IT server administrator
An IT server administrator manages the network and server infrastructure critical for the production and storage of animation projects. They ensure that data is securely stored and easily accessible, manage backups, and maintain software updates and hardware upgrades. Knowledge of network security, data management, and server technologies is essential, along with problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation of the IT environment.
